About ServerScope

ServerScope is an independent directory of inspections of Discord servers. The public directory is viewable by anyone. Staff accounts are used to create and manage inspections.

Cookies & consent

We do not currently use analytics or tracking cookies. When we add advertising or other non-essential cookies in the future, a cookie-consent banner will ask for your permission before any such cookie or script is loaded. You can accept or reject, and rejection is as easy as acceptance. Your choice is stored locally in your browser (using local storage, not a cookie) along with a timestamp.

You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, or the button at the bottom of this page.

Staff accounts

Staff accounts are created by an administrator and use a username and password. Passwords are stored one-way encrypted — we cannot read them back. We do not offer third-party login (such as Google or Discord sign-in). Staff can change their own password from their Account page.

Public submissions

The "Submit a server" form lets anyone suggest a Discord server for inspection. Any information you submit through that form is sent to our staff for review and may be used to create a published inspection. Please do not include personal information about other people.

Discord data

When a server is added to an inspection, we fetch the server's name and icon from Discord's public endpoints using the invite code or server ID you provide. This information is shown on the published inspection. We only store what is needed to display the inspection.

No sale of data

We do not sell personal data to anyone. Data you submit is used only to run and display the ServerScope directory.
